Official Sponsor of the Dutch Everest 2016 Expedition
Like with the previous expedition, my employer, the department of Shell Health, part of Shell International b.v., sponsors the Dutch Everest Expedition 2016 by providing me with 5 days of discretionary leave for the expedition. This allows me to teach a 7-day alpine course for the Royal Dutch Mountaineering Society this summer in Austria (Oetztal) aimed at 8 youngsters, aged 14 to 16 year, who are keen to develop alpine skills and techniques.
